  • FOUR AMPLIFIED RF OUTPUTS – Distributes incoming cable TV signals across four amplified RF outputs, with an additional dedicated passive data port for a cable modem or VoIP device.
  • PASSIVE MODEM AND VoIP CONNECTION – The separate data port maintains a passive signal path when amplifier power is lost. Modem and VoIP service remains dependent on power to the connected equipment and availability of the provider’s network.
  • MODEL-SPECIFIC FORWARD GAIN – IPA1044D-VF, IPA1044D-RSVF and IPA1044DS-RSVF provide 4 dB forward gain. IPA1004DL-VF delivers unity forward gain, compensating for distribution losses to maintain approximately the incoming signal level at each RF output.
  • ACTIVE OR PASSIVE RETURN OPTIONS – IPA1044D-VF, IPA1004DL-VF and IPA1004DL-VF-85 feature passive return paths. IPA1044D-RSVF and IPA1044DS-RSVF provide 4 dB return gain. IPA1004DL-VF-85 supports a 5–85 MHz passive return range.
  • ADDITIONAL FEATURES BY MODEL – IPA1044DS-RSVF includes Data Stabilization. IPA1004DL-VF and IPA1004DL-VF-85 include a dedicated local power port. Select the version whose gain, return configuration and frequency ranges match your cable system.

The Amphenol Broadband IPA1000 Series four-output Data Plus amplifiers combine cable TV signal distribution with a dedicated passive connection for a cable modem or VoIP device. Each model provides four amplified RF outputs plus a separate passive data port, allowing television and data connections to use different signal paths.

The passive data connection remains available when power to the amplifier is interrupted. Continued modem or VoIP operation still requires power to the connected equipment and an operational provider network.

This selection includes five models with different gain and return-path configurations:

IPA1044D-VF – Four amplified RF outputs with 4 dB forward gain and a passive return path.

IPA1004DL-VF – Four amplified RF outputs with unity forward gain, a passive return path and a dedicated local power port.

IPA1044D-RSVF – Four amplified RF outputs with 4 dB gain in both the forward and return directions.

IPA1044DS-RSVF – Four amplified RF outputs with 4 dB forward and return gain, plus Data Stabilization.

IPA1004DL-VF-85 – Four amplified RF outputs with a 5–85 MHz passive return path and a dedicated local power port.
