Antronix SD1P1000B satellite/CATV diplex filter combines satellite and cable TV signals onto one coaxial cable or separates them into individual signal paths. The CATV port passes 5–860 MHz signals, while the SAT port passes 950–2150 MHz satellite signals. This allows installers to use existing coaxial wiring for both services without running a separate feed. DC power passing rated at 50 VDC and 1.65 amps supports power delivery to the satellite LNB.
Designed for 75-ohm systems, the diplexer provides a maximum insertion loss of 2.0 dB on each path and isolation between the satellite and CATV bands. SCTE-compliant ECT F-ports, a corrosion-resistant tin-plated zinc-alloy housing, and a fully soldered backplate support dependable connections and RFI shielding. Integrated mounting tabs and a heavy-duty ground block simplify installation. The unit operates from −40°C to +60°C and features 6 kV ring-wave surge withstand capability and corrosion resistance tested to ANSI/SCTE-143 for 1,000 hours of salt-spray exposure.
