The SatelliteSale 70 dB MoCA Point-of-Entry Filter creates a radio-frequency boundary between your home's coax network and the outside cable plant. Installed where the incoming coax line reaches the first splitter, it passes compatible cable TV and cable internet signals from 5-1002 MHz while providing at least 70 dB of isolation across the 1125-1675 MHz MoCA band.

By keeping MoCA signals inside the premises, the filter helps reduce signal leakage, interference between neighboring coax networks, and unwanted external MoCA traffic. It also reflects MoCA energy back into the home's coax wiring, which can improve link margin and connection stability. It is a passive component and does not require power or network configuration.

The 75-ohm filter uses male and female F-type coax connections and may be installed in either direction. Connect it at the point of entry, before the first splitter that feeds the home's MoCA devices. It works with MoCA 2.5, MoCA 2.0, and earlier equipment operating in the 1125-1675 MHz band, including compatible MoCA adapters, gateways, and multi-room DVR systems.

Important: confirm that your cable provider's active service spectrum does not extend above 1002 MHz. This filter is not intended for satellite TV systems. This non-weather-sealed version should be installed indoors or in a protected enclosure.
